River View Retreat - Both Ocean and River Views

We recently stayed at a lovely holiday house in Moore River for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The house offered stunning views of the river, which was just a short walk away, making it easy to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. One of the highlights was the pool table, which provided hours of entertainment for the whole family. The house itself was well-equipped and comfortable, creating a relaxing atmosphere.

The only downside was that the landscaping could use some attention, as the garden was quite overgrown, and there were weeds throughout. However, this didn’t detract too much from the overall experience, and we would certainly consider returning for another stay.

Spacious, everything you need for a family/friends weekend away. Great locatio, house was amazing with great views of the rive. Definitely will be back snd recommend to others.

What a great place to come and visit with both beach and river activities. And in the evening there is no better home base for a family group. The spacious upstairs area had everyone getting into pool and foosball competitions. We had a fabulous time and made many happy memories.

Great location, layout, size for a large group or family - great holiday home, clean and comfie, spacious, best views, lots of fun!
Unfortunately the advertised coffee machine didn’t work - missing the water container, but otherwise all great!! Would love to come back again soon.

Wonderful views & lovely big house comfy beds in 2 main rooms.Big open kitchen & family room.However lots of TLC needed missing parts of taps in shower & bathroom- windows upstairs need a clean- no basic pantry & coffee machine not there as advertised and was only informed the next day (sat) that it wasnt being replaced after I bought the pods for it.Only 1 small freezer other one not working.Cant move the BBQ out of the wind as its chained to the wall.Screen door kept coming off the tracks downstairs still lots of lightbulbs not working .I feel like all these little things add up to be very annoying & can ruin your stay.Maintenace is very lacking.

We loved this house. Really comfortable and lived in but made the experience even better. The kids loved the games room upstairs. Bit far to walk to beach but only a short drive and fantastic value for money when you compare to other properties. Will definitely be booking again for next year. Thank you

We had a fantastic weekend. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. Loved the upstairs enclosed balcony as it was quite windy during our stay. Very clean, lovely big kitchen and dining table. Fantastic river views. A few maintenance issues need addressing like tapware in bathroom and weeds could do with a spray but all in all we will definitely be back.

We loved this house. It had everything we needed and more, and the new refurb bathroom was perfect. The home has lots of space everywhere, including the bedrooms. Even with bad weather outside, we had plenty to do playing pool and looking at the view. We will love to stay here again

The house was amazing, more than we could ask for! Upstairs was great, we had lots of fun playing pool and tablesoccer. The views were outstanding and what was promised on site description. Rooms, bathrooms and kitchen all had ample space
Only problems with the property was the outside lights don’t work so was hard to use the bbq for dinner, and the front door flywire screen was very hard to lock and unlock.
Will definitely book this house again in the future!!

The house is ok, but the kitchen wasn't ideal. Because of wet weather, we had to contend with the deluge of millipedes invading every room in the house. Having a 1 year old with us, I was always sweeping up the millipedes so she wouldn't try to touch them. The yard is neglected with weeds especially near the clothesline. The bathroom is nice, but the second shower is in the laundry - not that good.

Nice place and location.
Some things to get repaired or addressed.
1.Glass house room is very hot and wind doesn't get through the steel fly screens so we spent our time on the below balcony. the House aircon works well so maybe extend some ducting to that front glass house room.
2. the coffee pot machine doesn't work, it won't pierce the pods.
3.the Oven has an element under the base steel plate and while cooking pizza for my daughter the steel base plate was glowing red hot and had a steel enamel burning smell. (Safety Hazard) needs addressing ASAP
4. the outside lights on the below balcony don't work or need new globes.
5. the driveway had large pot hots at the bottom.

other than the above list which are easy fixes it was a nice holiday house.

Would definitely recommend very clean, well set up for couples, family and friends every thing you need for cooking up a storm very beautiful area, lots of other wonderful and querky places to see around this location

It was exactly the holiday house I was looking for with nice Moore river view from the Kitchen and balcony, east to get to Moore river just few minutes drive , lots of entertainment for kids :) really enjoyed the stay

House very nice but a lot of the lights didn’t work. No light in Laundry. Would have been nice if they suppluecsheets as inconvenient trying to hunt up linen when on holidays cal so a little bit of sugar and essentials items would b good

We had wonderful family holiday at this lovely home. The things I would suggest is to renovate the 3rd bedroom as it's a bit old and dark there & also change the 2nd shower head. It's a small matter though as the rest of the house is really good with great amenities too. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!
